Export Sales Report released at the end of last week recorded more than 357 thousand tons of old crop corn ordered in the previous week, the lowest level in 12 weeks. According to the Ministry of Commerce, Brazil's total corn exports reached 851 thousand tons in June, down 18% compared to the same period last year.


September Corn Futures prices surged in the last trading session of the week, with the settlement price on July 5 at 410.5 cents per bushel, up 1.23% from the previous session.


Soybean sales recorded over 228 thousand tons in the week ending June 27, the lowest level in 4 weeks. China was the largest buyer with 66.5 thousand tons, followed by the Netherlands with 58.5 thousand tons. New crop orders amounted to 150 thousand tons, the second-highest in the marketing year.


According to the Ministry of Commerce, Brazil's soybean exports reached nearly 14 thousand tons in June, up 1.5% compared to the same period in 2023 and an increase from May.


September Soybean Futures prices continued to rise, with the settlement price on July 5 at 1,126 cents per bushel, up 0.76% from the previous session.


The Export Sales Report showed all wheat orders amounted to 805 thousand tons in the week ending June 27, the highest level since December 2023.


Japan purchased nearly 130 thousand tons of wheat in the weekly tender. France's soft wheat harvest has just begun, and FranceAgriMer reported that the condition of wheat rated as good to excellent decreased by 2%, down to 58%.


September Wheat Futures prices surged. The settlement price on July 5 was 590.5 cents per bushel, up 2.9% from the previous session.
