Metal prices surged despite the strong rebound of the USD, with gold prices hitting a record high.

Dollar Index Update:The Dollar Index increased to 104.18, driven by expectations that the Federal Reserve will adjust its rate cut trajectory, while investors await the crucial upcoming U.S. presidential election.

Gold Market Update:Global gold prices hit a record high, with spot gold reaching 2,739.81 USD/ounce, up 0.7%. Gold futures rose by 0.6% to 2,754.30 USD/ounce.

Commodities Market Update:Crude oil prices rebounded after last week's selloff. At the end of the trading session on October 22, WTI crude oil contracts rose by 2.17% to 72.09 USD/barrel, while Brent crude oil contracts increased by 2.36% to 76.04 USD/barrel.

Silver prices continued to soar in the last trading session, with December 2024 silver futures settling at 35.041 USD/troy ounce, up 2.8% from the previous session.
