U.S. Stock Market Update for October 14:The U.S. stock market climbed on Monday (October 14) as optimism about the upcoming earnings season boosted sentiment. U.S. Treasury Bond Update for October 14:The yield on the U.S. 10-year Treasury bond saw a slight decrease, landing at 4.1%.

Dollar Index Update:The U.S. Dollar Index surged during the recent trading session, reaching 103.21. The USD hit its highest level in 10 weeks, extending its weeks-long rally, driven by data indicating a slowing economy, in line with expectations for moderate interest rate cuts by the Federal Reserve (Fed).

Commodities Market Update:In the commodities market, oil prices fell by more than 2% after OPEC once again lowered its global oil demand growth forecast for 2024 and 2025, while China's oil imports dropped for the fifth consecutive month. Brent crude oil fell by $1.58, or 2%, to $77.46 per barrel. WTI crude oil dropped by $1.73, or 2.29%, to $73.83 per barrel.
