U.S. Stock Market Situation
U.S. stock markets declined on Thursday as Nvidia's stock reversed direction. The S&P 500 dropped 0.25% to 5,473.17 points. The Nasdaq fell 0.79%, closing at 17,721.59 points. Conversely, the Dow Jones increased by 299.9 points to 39,134.76 points, driven by gains in some blue-chip stocks.
U.S. Treasury Bonds Situation
The yield on the 10-year U.S. Treasury bond rose to 4.261%.
Dollar Index Situation
The Dollar Index increased by 0.4% to 105.66 amid mixed U.S. economic data and political instability in France.
Gold Situation
Gold prices surged significantly, with spot gold rising by 30.2 USD to 2,359.6 USD/ounce. Futures contracts for gold increased by 26.7 USD from the previous day, reaching 2,373.6 USD/ounce.
Commodity Markets Situation
Oil prices saw a slight increase as the U.S. job market cooled down. Specifically, at 4:30 AM (Vietnam time), WTI crude oil prices were up by 0.74% to 82.34 USD per barrel. Similarly, Brent crude oil prices rose by 0.75% to 85.71 USD per barrel.
