At the end of yesterday's trading session, oil prices increased slightly by nearly 1% as gasoline and oil inventories fell more sharply than expected due to a sudden spike in U.S. refining activity last week. Brent oil prices rose by 42 cents, or 0.5%, to 85.08 USD/barrel. U.S. WTI oil prices increased by 69 cents, or 0.85%, to 82.1 USD/barrel.
