US Stock Market Situation
The US stock market rose in Friday's trading session after the jobs report bolstered hopes that the Federal Reserve (Fed) is nearing the point of starting to cut interest rates. At the close, the S&P 500 increased by 0.54% to 5,567.19 points. The Nasdaq index rose by 0.9% to 18,352.67 points. Both indices also reached record intraday and closing highs. This is the 34th time this year that the S&P 500 has set a record closing high. The Dow Jones index increased by 67.87 points, or 0.17%, to close at 39,357.87 points.
US Treasury Bond Situation
The yield on the 10-year US Treasury bond rose slightly to 4.292%.
Dollar Index Situation
In the global market on the morning of July 8, the Dollar Index is currently at 104.93 points. The Dollar Index remained under pressure throughout last week.
Gold Situation
Global gold prices are trending upward, with spot gold increasing by $2.3 from last week's closing level to $2,391.9 per ounce.
Commodity Market Situation
According to data from Oil Price at 8:15 AM today (Vietnam time), Brent oil prices are listed at $86.45 per barrel, down 0.1% from the previous session. Meanwhile, WTI oil prices are at $82.93 per barrel, down 0.28% from the previous session.
