U.S. Stock Market Situation

The U.S. stock market rose during Monday's trading session despite a rise in Treasury bond yields. At the close, the S&P 500 increased by 0.27%, reaching 5,475.09 points. The Nasdaq rose by 0.83%, reaching a record high of 17,879.3 points. The Dow Jones gained 0.13%, closing at 39,169.52 points.

U.S. Treasury Bonds Situation

The yield on the 10-year U.S. Treasury bond continued to rise sharply, reaching 4.459%.

Dollar Index Situation

The Dollar Index decreased by 0.04%, falling to 105.83 points due to the strong rise in long-term Treasury yields. Although the USD fell against other currencies, it reached a new 38-year high against the Japanese Yen in the recent trading session.

Gold Situation

Global gold prices remained stable, with spot gold rising by 3.5 USD to 2,332.6 USD/ounce. Futures gold prices increased by 2.3 USD compared to the previous early morning, reaching 2,341.9 USD/ounce.

Commodity Market Situation

At the end of the trading session on July 1, oil prices rose by approximately 2% to the highest level in two months due to expectations of increased demand during the summer driving season in the Northern Hemisphere and concerns that conflicts in the Middle East could spread and reduce global oil supply. Brent crude oil closed at its highest level since April 30, increasing by 1.6 USD, or 1.9%, to 86.6 USD/barrel. Similarly, WTI crude oil rose by 1.84 USD, or 2.3%, to 83.38 USD/barrel, the highest level since April 26.
