Domestic Coffee Prices
Today, domestic coffee prices range from 118,800 to 119,900 VND/kg, averaging 119,900 VND/kg, a slight decrease of 200 VND compared to yesterday. The highest buying price is in Dak Nong and Gia Lai provinces at 119,900 VND/kg. The lowest price is in Lam Dong province at 118,800 VND/kg.
Global Coffee Market
The USD has cooled significantly, now at 105.87 points. This makes USD-denominated commodities like coffee more attractive to global investors, directly boosting the price of Arabica coffee. However, for Robusta coffee, the market continues to face downward pressure as investor concerns about supply shortages diminish with new data being released.
The price of Coffee Futures Contract for Arabica September 2024, has seen a slight increase. Specifically, the settlement price on June 27 was 226.35 cent/pound, up 0.89% from the previous session.
