Domestic Coffee Price
Domestic coffee prices today range from 123,000 to 124,400 VND/kg, with an average of 124,300 VND/kg, up sharply by 3,000 VND from the previous day. The highest purchase price is in Dak Nong province at 124,400 VND/kg, while the lowest is in Lam Dong province at 123,000 VND/kg.
Global Coffee Situation
According to the Vietnam Coffee-Cocoa Association (Vicofa), Vietnam, being the world's largest producer of Robusta coffee, has seen a significant increase in prices due to a sharp decline in supply. Additionally, port congestion, transportation delays, and geopolitical instability are exacerbating supply concerns and supporting price increases.
The price of the September 2024 Arabica Coffee Contract has risen sharply. Specifically, the settlement price on June 24 was 236.25 cents/pound, up 5% from the previous session.
