Domestic Coffee Prices Situation:
Today's domestic coffee prices range from 120,300 to 121,000 VND/kg, with an average of 120,700 VND/kg, slightly down by 400 VND compared to yesterday. The highest buying price is in Dak Lak province at 121,000 VND/kg, while the lowest is in Lam Dong province at 120,300 VND/kg.
Global Coffee Market Situation
The prices of both coffee types rose sharply as investors grew increasingly concerned about supply shortages due to a decrease in coffee production in Brazil.
The price of the September 2024 Arabica Coffee Futures Contract saw a significant increase. Specifically, the settlement price on August 6 was 235.95 cents per pound, up 4.54% compared to the previous session.
