Domestic Coffee Prices
Today, domestic coffee prices range from 120,300 to 121,400 VND/kg, with an average of 121,100 VND/kg, showing a slight decrease of 700 VND compared to the previous day. The highest buying price is in Đắk Nông province at 121,400 VND/kg, while the lowest is in Lâm Đồng province at 120,300 VND/kg.
Global Coffee Market Situation
Experts predict favorable weather conditions for Brazil's coffee harvest from now until the end of the week. Arabica prices decreased ahead of the New York exchange's closure for the Independence Day holiday. Certified Arabica inventories held on the New York market increased by 8,322 bags the previous day, reaching a total of 815,716 bags. Additionally, the Brazilian real has been weakening against the USD in recent days. These factors have led to a decline in Arabica prices.
The September 2024 Arabica Coffee Futures contract has turned lower. Specifically, the settlement price on July 3 was 224.2 cents/pound, down 1.36% from the previous session.
