On August 3, 2024, representatives from SFVN had the opportunity to visit the family of Thạnh Hoài Phương Uyên and give a gift of 10 million VND in cash, hoping to contribute a small part to the “battle” against the brain tumor that this little warrior is facing.

Phương Uyên's family is underprivileged, currently renting a room with her mother and brother in a small alley in Bình Thạnh District. Throughout her elementary school years, Phương Uyên consistently achieved excellent academic results and is expected to enroll in Hà Huy Tập Secondary School in September 2024.

Sitting next to her mother, Phương Uyên always smiles brightly, even though she just underwent surgery to remove a malignant brain tumor. Sharing her story with us, the mother of the "little warrior" couldn’t help but feel heartbroken seeing her child suffer from the disease, which has progressed to stage 2 cancer. However, we could still sense the determination and optimism of the mother and daughter about a future victory over the illness
